fraternity transfer disaffiliate
by: ?I transferred into a top tier frat here and I really don’t get along w the brothers. So I’m seriously considering disaffiliating. Would it hurt my chances if I rushed next semester different frats if I kept it on the DL? I mean it’s understandable, it’s very difficult to transfer into a frat and if the bros don’t vibe with u, then it’s pointless to stay in it

Most fraternities’ bylaws forbid them from taking anybody who’s been initiated into another group.
Obviously if you manage to keep it a secret, then it won’t matter. But it’s going to be hard to do that. The second your current fraternity finds out you joined a new group, they’re gonna rat you out. And even if the new fraternity didn’t care that you’d already joined another group, they’re gonna care you lied.
