by: chill outPeople on this site need to give these girls a break. The ones I've met have been very fun and don't deserve their bad rep. They got everyone they wanted with their new PC and are becoming relevant with a lot of the mid tier frats and doing more philanthropy stuff too. Not having a house sucks, but they're doing the best they can with what they've got. Even without the house they should be considered higher than AEPhi and AXiD.

Let's face it, the girls and all the sororities are pretty much the same. The difference is what the organization does. The fact is, SDT should obtain a sorority house. They can rent it, or they can own it, but that is a big part of being a sorority. Large mansions in the Langden area, do become available each year, SDT needs to get one of their own. Then the reputation on campus, and the ranking will improve. It's not the girls, it's the organization . They can fix it. It takes hard work.

@DDD: Panhellenically speaking, SDT has more than a few chapters with small numbers. This does NOT 'need to be fixed'.
SDT has the right to be a small sorority and to serve a limited amount of interested students on campuses where they have chapters.
SDT's idea of 'having a better reputation' and 'have a better rank on greekchat' differs from yours.
Nationally there are relatively few pnms attending formal recruitment who will even consider joining SDT due to SDT's stated national purposes, policies and goals. Every sorority in the NPC bids women according to their own individual standards.
Any NPC group has the right and is allowed the privilege of remaining unhoused on a majority-housed campus. No one can tell a private sorority group they must purchase real estate to become a full NPC/panhel member.
