by: NewbieI heard at a party yesterday that rush was extended partly cause so many girls left Kappa last year. I just feel like everybody needs to be careful when rushing themselves and they should ask themselves if these are a group of girls I can be friends with both at Madison and after graduation.

This is totally false! I'm not a Kappa but have friends who are and this could not be further from the truth.
Use your heads and don't listen to baseless rumors.
The only thing I will say that I agree with in this post is it's important to choose your house based on your gut. Don't make your choice because of superficial criteria like looks, tiers, popularity but where you are most comfortable and can be yourself.

Its because there is a unprecedented large amount of PNMs this year and its too much for several houses to handle. This si not because houses are doing poorly, its because there are so many PNMs. This is a good problem to have. If it was just one or two houses panhel would tell that house to, more or less, suck it up and double up with 2 PNMs or more per active.
