re rushing as a sophomore

So last year I participated in formal rush as a freshman and got dropped after second rounds which didn't surprise me. I had been really sick during second rounds and obviously didn't make a great impression with a 102-degree fever. However, I felt really sad the whole year that I didn't get the opportunity to join a sorority. I'd love to try again as a sophomore but have heard mixed reviews? I don't have too many friends in Greek Life currently but I did get a letter of rec for axo. I'm wondering if it's dumb to rush again or should I try?
I'd honestly just like a bid and do not care much about rankings

Agreed. You'll likely get a bid if your gpa isn't terrible. No harm in trying!
