letters of rec??

I'm an incoming freshman and I'm planning on rushing, but I was wondering if I'd need letters of rec. Do some sororities value them more than others? Will it help at all?

my house barely looks at them. i also got 3 letters of rec coming in and the house im in i didn't have one for
