rushing as a transfer

So I'm so excited to be transferring to Uw madison in the fall! I'll be a junior and I really want to make sure I meet a lot of people and make friends. Greek life has always been something I've been interested in, but my community college didn't have it. I know most girls rush their freshman year, and some do it sophomore year. But I don't hear of too many girls rushing junior year. Should I rush anyways? I'm supposed to be out of town for round 1 but obviously I'll stay in town if I decide rushing is more important. Just wanted to hear other opinions!! Thanks :)
