Short answer: yes

It's unlikely that a sorority will actually contact them. And some sororities don't count cousins in regards to legacies. I know mine doesn't. But it doesn't hurt to list them. I listed my relatives in sororities that aren't even on our campus (DZ and ADPi), just to show that I was familar with being Greek and being Greek was a priority in my family.

Just always be brief and honest when asked about family members you "do not speak to due to family problems". If asked, simply state you know they are in PPP sorority but do not add you never speak to them (and do not go into why you don't speak to them, they don't really want or need to know).

If you are asked what those relatives told you about sororities, be honest if they told you nothing then kindly re-route the subject by asking your rusher what SHE can tell you about her sorority.

If cousins showed you their sorority badge years ago you could tell your rusher how pretty it looked or how you felt about what the cousins told you their badge symbolized.

Just always be brief and honest about your sorority relatives.

I was just going to list them on the application when you register. But idk if I will yet because if they contact then they might be confused.

they won't contact them. you're not providing their contact info, just the orrganization, school, etc.
