How do I tell girls I know in houses that I'm rushing without sounding like I'm expecting a bid or something. I feel like letting them know could be an advantage but idk how without seeming rude. Also I'm a sophomore

Wait, is this a joke? You're going to be a college sophomore and you don't know how to tactfully bring up rush with a "friend" and ask for help? God help you girl. You sound very socially awkward,

Ask the same question on greekchat.com---you'll get a better answer.

Also, be sure you understand your reasons for joining a sorority and what skills/talents you will be able to bring to ANY group willing to give you their invitation.

Tact. Reason. Logic. Kindness. Poise. These fight rude every time. Keep a very open mind when receiving invites as your Fall junior status will be a hindrance to a few houses (it doesn't matter which ones). Continue grade upkeep this Spring. Read read read basic online information regarding recruitment tips and tricks (and only believe half of what you do read). If you truly know women in the houses, they may already understand you will be rushing and be willing to gently guide you to the best of their abilities. Do your best, be your best, and have a great recruitment.
