by: BuckyOn this website, you will notice that fraternities and sororities are ranked . In general, the most active fraternities and sororities are ranked the highest. That means they engage in the most charity events, the most social events, the most athletic events, and in general, their members are required to be active around the campus. Such commitment of time, is not for everybody, but if you want to be in a powerful house, you need to participate in Greek activities.

Yes, many of the girls in our house, claim they are in "long-distance relationships". What this really means, is that they are dating nobody ever. They typically sit alone at home at night. The ones that want to be involved, find an active sorority, and a local guy, because they actually want to have a social relationship. Those that want to be active, need to be in the top sorority and fraternity. Those that don't want to make a time commitment, shouldn't pretend to do so.

I too know many girls in "long-distance relationships". These are the saddest people I have ever met. They never do anything fun. They never marry these so-called boyfriends , who often cheat on them, from afar. I don't know why they joined sororities, because they don't dance, they don't party, and they aren't looking for a relationship. So what is the point? Instead, they wallow in perpetual misery. Horrible to be around!
