any word on sorority spring rush?

Someone told me that over the past couple of years hardly anyone did Spring Rush...anyone know if it's probably going to be the same this year?

Sororities don't do spring rush very often, they do continuous open bidding. You have to contact the sorority in order to be invited to a COB event.

Is that really done (contacting a sorority to get invited to a COB event)? The only Greek girls I've met this year have dropped their sororities already so I don't know anyone else to ask about COB events. Am I just better off waiting until Fall rush?
