being a sorority legacy?

Do any sororities give special attention to legacies? Is it worth notifying the chapter now in case they have Spring Rush? Or are legacies not considered that big of a factor in COB'ing or Spring Rush at Wisconsin?

legacies really don't matter much at any of the houses. maybe they will consider you more but if they don't like you it doesn't matter.

they usually have to invite you back to 2nd rounds but, if you pref there, a lot are forced to take you as a new member. however, that pref night rule has laxed at schools where te recruitment numbers are really good and rigt now the numbers at Madison are good. Sometimes, if a house with the pref rule prefs you and changes their mind, they can cut you with special permission. I know this because my house did this and all my friends in other houses told me their houses did this too. Same goes for friends in sororities at other schools.
