Sig Ep was breaking into top tier, especially when they moved into the new house. What happened and what lessons can be learned?

No, actually, they were only top tier in their own minds. No big loss. Plus the house was tacky.

Pretty much always mid-tier but had some quality guys. Shouldn't have been shut down.

How soon? When do the Phi Delt letters go up? Will there be an opening ceremony?

If they were such a great bunch of guys, don't you think you'd see nationals and the chapter alumni fighting to save them?

Their own alumni and National staff double-teamed the chapter's leadership.

More like the brothers couldn't follow the rules of their probation.

Pretty sure it was just a static vinyl sticker. Easy to change out for the next frat.

The undergrads were already on probation from last year. The National fraternity help us back then from being closed. The undergrads were repeatedly told to stay out of trouble and follow the rules or the University would shut us down. This shouldn't be a surprise to any of them. It does seem like a severe punishment for a party or whatever, but it was seen as a continuation of bad behavior.

Nationals are always bunch of goobers from no name schools who couldn't get real jobs.

Couldn't they just do a membership review and get rid of the troublemakers?

They might have done that last year. Either that or some guys dropped out and went inactive.

Probation has that effect on membership numbers.
