grade cutoffs
by: MeeeeMy sister goes to another major university and the cutoffs are pretty strict. You have to have at least a 3.5 h.s. gpa in order to go through rush. What is Wisconsin's grade cutoff?

Not Indiana, but thanks. The school I'm referring to (would rather not name names) requires a h.s. 3.5 (unweighted) gpa to go through rush and the top houses have cutoffs that are higher than that. In many you won't be asked back unless you have a 3.75+ h.s. gpa (unweighted) Before rush week is over, more than 40% of girls are dropped or choose to drop out. It can be heartbreaking. Would you say that rush at UW is not as cutthroat?

Madison's is much more about trying to include as many girls in the process rather than exclude them. They try to set house quotas based in the number of girls going through rush vs limiting them. Some houses may have their own personal GPA requirements but it's not a set GPA for all houses.

I'm not sure about other sororities, but mine was a 2.5 or a 2.75 I'm pretty sure. So if you got in here, your GPA is probably high enough to rush lol.
