alpha phi v gphi v kappa
by: ???Are these three just the same house with different degrees of hotness? From the outside, they kinda seem the same.

They are similar in the kinds of girls that they recruit. But honestly, I wouldn't group APhi necessarily with the other two. To me, DG is much more similar. APhi gives off a heir of desperation that I just don't get from GPhi, Kappa or DG. Or AXO for that matter. Just my experience.

There are subtle differences. Kappa has more coasties. GPhi and DG are pretty similar and very midwestern. From the girls I've met I'd say GPhi and DG are less cold than Kappa and APhi. "well" is right about APhi not quite being as similar to those three. Odds are girls who pref one top house also pref at the other top houses or AXO and APhi.

I mean... aphi's freshman pledge class was very pretty but aphi definitely gives off desperation. they seem to try too hard to be a "typical sororityty sorority" and it's a bit of a turn off. everything they do seems like it's for looks. agreed with the person above though dg, axo, and gphi come off as less cold and a little more open to friendships than aphi and kappa who seems to really stick within their houses

Don't worry. Everyone knows the ranks but no one actually talks about it besides on greekrank and whatsgoodly. It really only affects which frats you hang out with.

.....there are no so called "top 5" houses, Alpha Phis only wish there were. There are 3 top tier houses and they are Kappa, Gamma Phi, and DG, period.
Alpha Phis are way too insecure and social climby and, AXOs just don't care, to make it into the top tier.

Sororities are constantly attacking eachother on here and it honestly doesn't make any sense. DGs, AXOs, and Aphi's are some of the most genuine, nicest, lovely ladies. It's unfair to attack Aphi or kappa- I've met such nice ladies from both those houses. They all seem to have strong friendships, friendships you cannot judge. You cannot generalize about a whole sorority, not every girl is the same. There are good and bad in every sorority. Freshman, go into rush with an open mind and I promise you will find the right house. Many girls are friends with people from other houses as well, not just their own. Greek life isn't as catty as these other girls are making it seem like.

I don't get why people keep saying Aphi is hot??? (Definitely a myth perpetrated by them.) I've looked at their Instagram and if you look close, the girls are NOT hot by any stretch of the imagination. They just seem very made up.
