Just be forewarned that the state of Wisconsin, this school and the greek system here is more segregated than anything you probably have experienced in the south. So if you're coming to escape that, save your out-of-state tuition. There's a reason they call it Wississippi. And the governor of this state is no friend of education and just keeps hacking away at our budget.

You seriously think UW-Madison is more racially segregated than schools in the South? You're dreaming. Also no one calls it that, you're just an idiot.

I'm from Atlanta too! I love this school so much and it was the best choice I could have made for myself. Greek life is way different here so it was an adjustment altering my expectations after seeing so many siblings and other family members go through it at UGA, Auburn, Ga Tech, FSU, pretty much every SEC/ACC school you can think of. Granted I'm a girl and sorority life is much different than fraternity life but I still love it here and it would be super cool to have more southerners up here! Ignore "Be Prepared" because that's obviously sarcasm and in poor taste.
