Great sisterhood based on philanthropy (Painted Turtle), a deeply rooted in the deaf culture (both Big D and little d). We are focused on scholastics, sisterhood, authenticity, and really want to be an asset to the community.

Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful sorority, but it is not exactly "Deaf-friendly&quo t; and some members are uptight. They need to chill, and be proud of themselves for being a Greek. They take everything personally and I'm sorry but I wouldn't join this sorority if I was a female. There's adjustments needed, and they need people to step up and be that change.

This is one cool fraternity, but it seems that not everyone knows their brothers. I have talked to several members, and they told me that they do not know half of their members, nor have they tried to acknowledge them. One brother have stated that only reason they are having a good amount is because their HQ wanted them to be a big fraternity. I think they should select based on Quality not Quantity. They pretty much give the bid to everyone. I respect them, its just not for me. Give 'em chance

This chapter is different from others in the University. Delta Sigma Phi may not be the popular fraternity, but it does have its own flair, and is very dedicated to Gallaudet and Washington D.C. communities. If you get know brothers, they will surprise you. They're more cooler than they seem, and now they're getting popular people to pledge for them. They're getting more better looking, and smart! They give out equal opportunities to possible prospects. They believe in giving people chances.
