breakdown
by: LRU
LR's greek life isn't really big enough for a tier system so here is the break down:
Frats:
Theta Xi: A little different, they have parties but they are more tame, they tend to get allot of music majors and other similar students. They have allot of nice, sweet guys, but some of the are kind of weird. Oldest greek organization on campus.
PiKapp: More socially active, have large parties, they do take their service aspect seriously as well. They're much more stereotypical than Xi and have a reputation for being rude but thats mostly because of their superiority attitude. Sororities love them.
Sororities:
Kappa Delta: Probably the most exclusive on campus, they are usually really good looking. They're kind of snobby, but in a way rightfully so. Very formal and are relatively active on campus.
ZTA: Very mixed group of people, have allot of gorgeous girls, but also some that are the opposite of that. The won greek organization of the year last year and if I'm not mistaken are the largest greek organization. Very active both socially and service wise. Drawback would be they are the only sorority without an actual house (unit in price).
Sigma Kappa: They are really nice and for the most part socially active, but they don't really do anything on campus and are struggling to get members so your chances of getting a bid are high. Have the nicest house.
Delta Zeta: Very pretty, very southern. You'll see them at parties allot but other than that you won't hear much from them.

Kappa Delta won Greek Organization of the Year last year. Last year was also the first year with Greek Organization of the Year, before they used to have Sorority of the Year, and Fraternity of the Year. Zeta Tau Alpha, had been holding Sorority of the Year for I don't remember how many years, so it was a major shock with Kappa Delta won Greek Organization of the Year last year.
