I couldn't agree more with the previous post. DG has slipped a lot. Their "sisterhood" is floundering and I find most of their members pretty indifferent. They just aren't what they used to be and kind of getting desperate. IMO.

Delta Gamma has lost their way. A few years back it revolved around sisterhood. Now they become so worried about their image that they forget that they're in college. Their pledge class was a miss this year because of the lack of sisterhood. One more bad recruitment year and it's over for them. Go to this house if you are looking for a resume booster. Go to the other houses if you want to make memories with your future sisters without being surrounded by pessimistic people.

They win grades every year because: 1. They only accept new members with ridiculously high GPAs. Most girls get cut the first night of recruitment if they don't have pretty much straight A's. 2. Threaten horrible punishments like the revoking social privleges or even kicking them out if they don't maintain above a 3.5 gpa. 3. Have extensive study files they use to cheat. Old tests and assignments, ect. That's not really anything to brag about. Threats and cheating. What a wonderful way to foster sisterhood. Not to mention requiring all new members to participate in things, even when they don't want to. Whether or not they want to admit it thays hazing and it's against the rules. But then again so is cheating and dirty rushing and that never stopped them before.

these girls are really fun, they know when to be appropriate and when to have a good time. sometimes when i talk to sorority girls i wanna shoot my head off for being so dumb or self absorbed but all the dgs I've spoken to have been interesting. These girls are probably my favorite although i think the kappa girls are really sweet .

All the dgs I've talked to have seemed to really support each other. Confused about the posts on their sisterhood, i think they are a great sorority and many dgs i know are over achievers. A top house for sure.
