zeta informal rush
by: lolconfused how girls in zeta consider themselves "middle tier" when they have consistently been doing informal rush and just keeping it down low.... have that many girls dropped that they still havent met quota

If you have to pay for sisterhood u have other problems. You have your sisters at that point and not paying because you aren't filthy rich is understandable

it's more likely that seniors/ upperclassmen graduate early or decide to study abroad rather than dropping. people could have also transferred. if it's not the underclassmen dropping, it's not necessarily an indication of any problem.

If you drop (disaffiliate), you are officially separating yourself from your sisterhood. You are no longer a member of it. Sure, the girls you met through your former sorority are still your friends, but they are no longer your sisters.
When you join a sorority, you understand the financial commitments. If you don't intend to pay dues for the rest of your undergraduate career, you shouldn't join. Dropping puts your chapter in a bad position - the one where they are forced to do informal recruitment to keep numbers up.

Clearly you've had a privileged upbringing but you do realize plenty of people enter college believing they have the funds to pay and many things happen throughout the years

Zeta's nationals wants every chapter of zeta at every university to become bigger--regardless of their current size, so they had every single chapter do informal rush. It wasn't just the chapter here at Umich. It's not like this chapter is having girls drop by the numbers, because only two girls from PC 15 dropped, and I'm pretty sure that happens in every sorority.

Zeta's PC 15 right now is so big they can't have everyone live in the house next year.
