The rank system is bad for all of greek life. No one wants to move in this so called rank list and the so called top are not better than the so called bottom.
Girls are girls. Same with the frats. There is a mix of attractiveness in all houses, same goes for money, intelligence, and popularity. To deliberately bash a new house or existing houses is pathetic. This site breeds these anonymous comments and does absolutely nothing to help or promote Greek life as a whole. The sooner y'all realize this, the better it will be. This site has made everyone act so stupid and causes Greek life to look bad to others, school administrators and most importantly to ourselves. Who gives a crap about this stuff anymore and why is it a thing? Let's just stop already. It makes Greek life look bad here and at every university across the country.

UMich is ridiculous. Other schools have a "ranking" that doesn't really affect much aside from what happens on this site, but at Michigan it actually goes beyond. the rankings are so intense that it DOES affect the quality of houses because reputations get so set in stone that they become real.

it's the reputation that gets spread around to PNMs that makes up so much of the problem. Girls don't necessarily know/ care where each houses land in the "tier" system, but they absolutely know which are considered to be at the bottom and naturally avoid them or talk them down.

Talk them down for no reason. The girls in this alleged tier are at least 85% just as pretty smart and great people just like all the other houses. You could meet girls in every house and put them in a room and you could.. Maybe.. Correctly guess where they belong. There is beautiful and average looks in every single house.
Personality does matter and those that are so
" affected" by their alleged higher tier are snobs not so beautiful at all.

More real to the Rankers but tarnishes the rep so new members think it's true when it's not. Cycle needs to break. Each year seems to get worse tho.
