random question about sorority rush rumors

I rushed a few years back and ended up dropping. Is it true that the last girl you talk to at each house during the first round throws away your notecard if she doesn't like you and that's how they decide who to invite back? I can see why they would do that to save time instead of voting on 2000+ girls so I'm just curious if that's true! And are the girls you talk to at each house during round 1 really not random?? A friend of mine from a sorority at KY said they go through the registration forms of each girl and assign girls from their chapter to specific girls to talk to, so basically they already know everything about you when they greet you when you walk in.

Every house does it differently but my house never did it like this and I've never heard of anyone throwing out notecards. Doesn't make a lot of sense because then the girls you talk to before the last girl wouldn't get any say at all and that's not how rush works. Like in that case why talk to more than one girl at all?
