It's moderately competitive. Legacy status gets you an invite to second sets depending on the house and not much more. Anyway, there are girls who fit that description in every single house, and I'm not exagerrating. The houses choose the girls in the end anyway, and you'll end up where you belong. Keep in mind that most girls consider their sorority to be their family on campus. Would not start labeling them as good or not. Just keep an open mind, and worry about finding a house you'll love regardless of what other people think. Every house has a rep.

every year getting into a top house is getting more and more competitive and as a result most of the mid tier houses are becoming just as desirable. Obviously the draw for most goes first to the "top tier houses" but the mid tier houses have just as many normal, fun, nice, attractive girls as you described. When I rushed I didn't have any connections or legacies and still got into my top house so it definently is not make or break. I've heard that legacies usually will get you to second sets. Good luck rushing next year and remember to rush who you are not who you want to be!!!
