have any strats done open bidding or winter rush?

I wish Gamma Phi would do winter rush so that I could get a group of my friends to rush together. So many of my friends were cut! Really nice, smart, beautiful girls. Do sororities not want the smart ones? I see a trend that all my engineering friends were cut immediately.

I personally know girls in all four of these houses and they are all sweet and wonderful people. The sisterhood that they found within their chapters is geniune and they are so happy. If you're going to sit there and be rude and judgemental about any sorority on campus, please just don't join any sorority. The Greek community does not need people like that.

Just because Gamma Phi is new doesn't mean they're just going to take anyone who rushes. Same with any other sorority that does winter rush or COB. Try giving the houses you were invited back to a chance. Or if you don't like them, do everyone a favor and drop. there are plenty of girls that would love to be in your position right now.

Just give the houses a chance and trust the process. I wasn't super excited about the house I got a bid from but I kept an open mind and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Also, gphi is right. Just because a house does continuous bidding or is considered "low tier" doesn't mean that they are just going to take someone to fill a pledge class. You get a bid because clearly someone connected with you and liked you enough that they wanted to give you a chance.
If you're worried about the "prestige" of a house you're doing it wrong.

Zeta has a pc 15 of 61 girls which is the same or larger than other chapters on campus

Just put them in order and drop if you get a bid. You can rush next year.
