frat's "netflix and chill" rush event?

I really want to get a bid from this frat, but idk this event sounds a little weird for a frat to throw. They said they have to be "dry" for rush, so they are providing mountain dew. Anyone else going to this event?

No fraternities throw wet events during rush unless they are invite-onlies. So, the beginning open houses and meet and greets are dry. Once you get invited back and they start narrowing down their potential class is when many fraternities provide alcohol or do beer pong tournaments or the like.

This is a sick sigma chi event I went to as a freshman. The brothers just play a sweet movie (for me it was The Hangover) and watch it with the rushees. They bought everyone a ton of popcorn, candy and mountain dew for everybody attending. This was probably my favorite event but I decided to go pike because my brother was in it.

I had a lot of fun at Netflix and chill @ Sigma Chi last year. Even though I didn't end up joining, I still made a ton of friends. Favorite part was when we all hit the showers together right before lights out

sogma chi is not having a Netflix and cHill event They have a couple open houses and then invite only parties which aren't publicly listed anywhere
