I know it has been brought up before, but I am still not clear. Aside from assessing your ability to pay dues, how much do top tier frats care about money? Will living in Michigan, being middle class, and going to public school hurt my chances of getting bids from nay top tiers? (And yes, I know that rush is very competitive for top houses to begin with).

U might feel out of place but in my experience money has nothing to do with getting in a top tier. AEPI Theta Chi and Phi Psi (and Sammy) are kinda known for being the richer kid frats. U will meet kids who are insanely rich, but every frat has those kids.
