dphie sdt

Since I heard neither will have houses or maybe one will how does the rush happen? Like ... What's the point without a house? I have a friend's sister who is legacy at SDT and I wanted to rush there. She said she would send a recommendation in for me. But also have the same situation with Dphie which is not my first choice at all. Do letters of rec help?

How is DPHie already not your first choice when you haven't even been through rush? SDT will not be participating in recruitment for two years.

my prediction is that all the girls who wouldve gone sdt will join aephi instead. small org nationally but the house is very nice and much closer to campus than deephs.

DPhiE and GPhi will be doing rush in the union since GPhi is taking DPhiEs house but renovations won't be done in time to use it.

I thought DPhiE took possession of Sammy's house last month. Why would they be rushing out of the Union when they have a house for at least the next five years?

Also, I don't understand why GPhi's renovations would take very long. After they left campus, their house was occupied by boarders, then Triangle. Deeph did a pretty extensive remodel after they took possession from Triangle, before the 2010-2011 school year. (Triangle then moved into the house they own on Washtenaw, which had been rented by Pike while Triangle was off campus.) Is the GPhi house on South University going to sit empty all year?

They're doing a pretty huge remodel, it's apparently going to look like a different house once it's done.

They're remodeling the entire house from the floor up. I saw pictures of what it's supposed to look like and it looks really similar to Theta's current house. That type of renovation will take t least the fall semester to do

DPhiE is leasing Sammy's old house on Oxford for the next 5 years at least and will be doing rush out of that house (and chapter, meals, etc, and some girls are already going to be living there). SDT is not doing rush.
