past houses/rankings

We all have our own stereotypes/rankings of houses here today, but what were some reputations of houses in the past and what changed? For instance Beta went from top tier to one of the smallest houses.
Also, what houses did we used to have that got kicked off and why? I heard aopi was kicked out for hooking up with boys for "philanthropy" back in the day. What happened to other houses?

I think this was all discussed a while ago, but AOPi closed in 1992/93 because of low numbers. Zeta and DZ closed soon after for the same reason, then Gamma Phi Beta a little later. The only sorority that has closed recently because of "problems" is AEPhi.
