business fraternities
by: Incoming FreshmanI'm interested in rushing a business and a social fraternity in the fall. I know what I'm going for as far as social Greek life but what's the deal on the business frats? Which are the best and why?

The two best are PCT and Akpsi. Both are equally competitive (<10% acceptance rates). PCT is a bit more diverse with bba students as well as some engineering and CS types and Akpsi is more bba students. From what I gather they both have great resources to help you with Ross admissions and internship stuff. After the two best comes DSP which is alright and getting better. Then there's pgn and kappi which are good fall backs but in all sincerity simply not as good. Just my two cents as I went through the process.

I highly suggest not pledging both social and professional in the same semester. While it has been done, both pledge terms are very time consuming. You want to become close with your pledge class, and it is difficult to split time between the two. Both social fraternities and professional fraternities have fall and winter rushes, so maybe do one fall semester and the other winter semester.

Op don't listen to the above post, I I know many people who have successfully done both its just extremely challenging
