Freshmen: who's looking good for rush this year? Which sororities are everyone's favorites?

Coming from an actual freshman there are so many girls rushing this year that so many people are disappointed with their schedules. the top 3 are almost impossible so a lot of girls love axo, adpi, and delta gamma. Skrappa is super popular too. AXO cut a crazy amount of girls first round.

I agree with the last post. Around 1300 girls going through rush and only 50-60 get in each house. If you want to be in a top house, well the odds are against you. People have fun in all houses.

1300/50 = 26. They're aren't even 26 sororities on campus so what happens?

The number of girls that get bids is determined by the number still in recruitment at prefs. Larger numbers of girls rushing just means bigger pledge classes. There is no rule that only 50-60 will get a bid. The number is a moving target to accommodate as many women as possible. In the most simplified explainatio, if no one dropped out, quota would be 1300/16 or ~81.

Since these last cuts everyones super upsetttt the top tiers were cutting lots. axo cut a lott but they're still a favorite, sigma kappa is good! delta gamma seems really good, alpha delta pi comes in close!

Still stung a bit from getting cut at my first few houses but agree that houses like adpi. Deeph Agd and zeta were some of my favs. Liked DG too but house is so far. We will see today! Excited to be Greek!

So many cuts and all the girls in the rush lines were upset. But it was better for the other houses cuz I was able to see other houses again that may have been overlooked. Loved ZETA AGD and DG. They were super friendly and genuine.

what is DPHIE known for? Friendly girls? Lots of fun? Is it considered a top sorority? How does it compare to SDT?

Deeph has some really chill girls. Pc 14 is really great and seems to all get along. It is not considered a top sorority but keep in mind the type of people in the sorority is more important that status. Dont know much about sdt so cant say much abou them except they definitely have more girls from long island and the east coast area than deeph

It is so true that the type of people is way more important then the alleged status. U will find great girls in each house and the opposite is true too if u liked the genuine friendliness of a house that who u should pick. Each real the houses change ,.. Some for the better. And some not so much.
All of the houses not considered upper and just as nice and you will have a great time.

I know girls in too houses who were told they could participate in rush because they weren't pretty enough/personality wasn't good enough. Who wants to be a part of that?
