Chem frat is a professional frat, not a social fraternity. It's co-ed and not affiliated with IFC or Panhel. Professional frats have their own social scene, but in no way are they part of what you traditionally think of as Greek Life. However, some people are in both a professional frat and a social fraternity/sorority.
