Perspective from sophmore rusher

I’m a sophomore in a sorority that isn’t necessarily a “dream house” for most girls. During rush I talked to a lot of super sweet girls and a lot of EVIL girls.
For the most part the sweet girls I talked to went houses like KD, ADPi, Pi Phi, and DG. However the evil girls I talked to went houses like SK, AEPhi, and Kappa. I’m not even joking when I say these girls were actually the worst ppl I’ve ever met in my entire life: 1 word answers, actively avoided eye contact, snarky, condescending, and just straight up disrespectful.
It’s funny how I could name hundreds of reasons why these girls are worse than the average person yet, greek life tells them they are better than other girls because they ended up in “top houses”. Trust when I say these girls were by NO MEANS supermodels, and they were definitely lacking in the personality/ morality department. New members: don’t feel bad if you didn’t end up in a top house, bc odds are the nice girls who did end up in a top house will probably end up hating their lives bc they have to be around these h0es that I was forced to talk to.
Greek life tends to celebrate awful people. Let’s not forget a baddie is a baddie no matter what sorority she is in, and a chopped h0e is still a chopped h0e no matter what sorority she is in.

i'm an alum lurking bc bored on a work break - no one specific, but every year there was at least one PNM kicked out for being super rude to multiple chapters during rush (one word answers, rolling their eyes, not answering questions). There was some kind of process to report it to their rhos/panhel.
There were slightly less rude PNMs who you just kinda had to let go because it wasn't worth reporting them, but it's funny - some of them still went SK back then. Ironically one of the rudest girls who got kicked out of rush got a KD bid as a colonizing member, so it's good that they're not mean anymore. Their nationals were something else. Back then the nicest PNMs I rushed who didn't join my chapter went AXO adpi dg pi phi SDT and aphi. Interesting which things change or don't.

so true but unfortunately the girls in “top” houses will never care because it’s frat boys rating their beauty that keeps them at the top, and they need that validation. truly the best ppl don’t care about their rank and value personalities over beauty/money/style. anyone could blend in with a “top” house with a cute outfit and good makeup, but but those girls find actual sisterhood and fun friendships in the houses considered lower tiers
