a message to ALL of the pnms

as bid day approaches, i’m going to say this once and not just to the current PNMs but also the ones that have dropped out of rush and are participating in COB. do not let a sorority define you. these rankings that you see are ranked by a man. do not let this define you because they are simply not real it really does not matter what sorority you are in as long as you are truly happy and as long as you feel like you do belong. wherever you are and where you end up regardless that you do or do not continue to rush, it really matters where you are happy and where you feel most comfortable. do not let a man’s ranking determine your self worth and more importantly know your worth. stay true to yourself! the so- called “top”, “mid”, and “bottom” sororities are not real and all the sororities do truly love each other regardless. when you graduate Michigan, you’re not going to look back at if you were in a “top” or “mid” or whatever sorority, you’re gonna look back at the girls you knew and who you spent your four years with. you belong where you belong and it really does work out in the end.
