srats haze or no?

No! I used to be the new member ed of my sorority and we go through training to assure anything we do isn't hazing or perceived as hazing. There are so many things that seemed super normal and reasonable that we weren't allowed to do because of the possibility new members would feel pressured to participate or uncomfortable. I have friends in a lot of other sororities and none of us have experienced anything close to hazing. I was so stressed about rush because I assumed I would be hazed and not know how to say no, but I have never had anything happen and nor have my friends. For context, I just counted and have close enough friends in 10 different houses that would have 100% told me if they were hazed. Don't let Greek Rank ruin your experience, this website is not reflective of actual Greek life. Good luck in rush!!!!
