Heard about barn recently

I was sitting in the dining hall, listening to upperclassmen talk about something called “The Barn.” It sounded interesting, but I had no idea what it was. Was it a new fraternity? A secret society? Everyone seemed to know about it, but when I asked, no one gave me a straight answer. I finally worked up the courage to ask a senior sitting next to me. “Hey, what’s the deal with ‘The Barn’? I keep hearing about it, but I have no idea what it actually is,” I said, trying to sound casual and not like a complete newbie.
