wealth in sororities

So Michigan seems to be like a school filled with wealthy Greeks. Not saying this is a bad thing but I was wondering if ppl who want to be in a "good" sorority would feel inferior if they are not filthy rich? Also, what sororities would you recommend for these ppl if they like to party and have fun but also be around nice cool girls?

it's true that there are a lot of wealthy kids in greek life at u of m, but there are plenty of middle class people as well! Dues aren't cheap, but many houses offer scholarships and/or payment plans. Every house has nice/cool girls along with some catty/mean ones, so it's really all about where you feel comfortable.

It's the same at every school. People won't discriminate against you if you're a good fit

don't even worry about it. honestly, every sorority has parties and meet cool guys, some dues are more expensive than others but usually that doesn't affect whether you get in or not, unless you're talking bout kappa or theta or something

Kappa has lots of middle class girls and a few on aid. Don't worry, they do not discriminate.
