Dear PNM’s: Join a house that fits who you are. Plz

The rankings are a bit superficial. If you’re in a frat, you’ll still have crazy parties compared to anyone else not in Greek life. You’ll still get to live in a mansion. You’ll still have amazing stories, no matter which one you join, so join the one that fits you the best. Don’t allow yourself to join a group you may not like the most just because it seems more “cool.”

Same goes for sororities.

Please. I really don’t want to go through another year of hearing horror stories online of people who said they dropped Greek life. Every organization is amazing to those who it fits, and every organization is also hell for those who it doesn’t fit.

go to as many houses as you can for rush, there is no reason to limit yourself. if you don’t like the house don’t go back, just keep an open mind and you’ll be happy wherever you end up.
