Whats it like not being in a fraternity
by: woolThere have been lots of posts about what its like not being in a sorority but what is it like socially not being in a fraternity especially as a sophomore. Big question is parties and tailgates in more normal times.

The “lower tiers” still party for sure. Some of them even throw some pretty big tailgates. That said they don’t always have mixers scheduled like mid and uppers do. That is to say there isn’t always a sorority coming to party with them. The frequency of this issue varies based on the lower frat

JUST AS GOOD as a so called mid tier/high tier frat that only rank themselves that way. All frats party and plan their events and tailgates ahead of time. Have mixers/date parties. It's Funny when people rank frats and sororities- it all comes down to groups who care very little to be on this site at all, then they get ranked as lower tier. The guys and girls are all great there and probably way nicer and will become true friends.

As long as you’re anywhere from a mid to a top house you’ll have the parties you’re looking for. It’s does determine which sororities you mix with though. Uppers and mids don’t mix that often.
