fines in sororities?

Is it true for sororities if you miss an event like weekly chapter you get fined?

Yes! I’m in a mid bottom sorority and even we get fined.

each sororities policy is different, but usually yes. if you're joining an org you should be showing up anyway. so dont let this defer you. if you have an actual issue you should be good and get an excused

yes but every chapter has its own "excused events" system, so if you're sick or have a lot of work, you can miss a few mandatory meetings without being fined

you only get fined for certain mandatory events like recruitment and initiation. however, there is always an opportunity to submit excuses for these like work or an exam so as long as you're engaged and know what the expectations are you won't get fined!
