Can someone pls give a rundown of sorority rush?

Im a freshman and i feel like i really don’t know anything at all- like what’s a date party?- so can someone please give a rundown of everything i need to know before i go into rush?

date parties have nothing to do w rush
date parties are an event a frat/srat have where the member brings a date and you all attend a party usually at a club
u don’t need to know anything about rush besides be urself and dress fancier each round

It’s a long process but it’s shorter this year and shouldn’t be too bad. It’s exactly what it sounds like you basically go through each round and keep meeting the girls, the house, etc and at the end of each round you number the sororities in the order you like them and they number the pnms (you). Then at the end of each round they’re kinda cross checked and that’s how you get your next list.
