possible to get into a top sorority as a soph?

I've heard mixed stuff about whether that 1 year makes a difference, but does it? Want to hear directly from people in top sororities.

i know a sophomore who got a bid to tridelt last year and one who got a bid to axo, you just gotta be a really solid pnm or have connections
