Maybe but it mostly depends on the girls you talk to during rush- their opinion matters most

i've known so many girls who made it to pref because of connections and then didn't get bids. it can help but definitely depends on who you talk to. if you're an in house legacy (close relative was in the chapter recently) that also helps
