Theta Chi's incessant self-promoting on here shows that arrogance is always a facade for insecurity. You guys are consistently ranked top 3, but you seem to always need to let everyone know you're "moving up."

I'm in what you consider a 'selective' frat, but thats not why we're better than all the frats below us. the reason why we're selective is because we have the best parties. we mix with the top sororities, and we have hundreds of people trying to get into our open parties, but only the hottest girls get in. As a result, every freshman knows our name, and knows hey, I wanna join that frat because they have the best parties. we're selective because we have so many guys rushing, but we can only give 25 or so bids. A lot of guys from my dorm last year joined a 'not selective at all' frat, and all that means is that they aren't as well known, don't throw as big of parties, and thus, less people rush. Yea we're a better frat then them, but some of those guys could easily fit into my frat, or other selective frats, they just chose to go where they knew people from home, or what not. point is, we're not better than everyone cuz of bids, we're better because our parties

what is the tridelt, theta, adpi, zeta, and psi u situation

Tridelt- As far as i know they are co-pregaming with AEPi/SAE because SAE can't have an official one and AEPi didn't want to ask Theta?

Theta- Unofficial with ZBT and/or Sig

ADPi- Didn't overwhelmingly want Chi Phi just because this is their 2nd year in a row. Chi Phi just barely beat out Shady

Zeta- Controversial as to who actually won the vote. 3 different votes were had to decide pre game with either DKE/Phi Delt. ZTA is pretty divided over it.

Psi U- Last I heard. 50 weeks of Social Probation. possibly losing their house? I'm sure someone in Psi U on here can clarify

Tridelt, Theta and Zeta are all right. ADPi is sort of right, but it wasn't that close (my neighbor is in ADPi). She said chi phi clearly won, but no one was really happy with it. Shady and Delta Chi had about the same votes, and no one voted for Deke. It was more, 'it will hurt our rep/rush if we pregame with shady' and all of the upperclassmen liked delta chi, but the freshman didn't know them, so all the freshman felt forced to vote for chi phi, and aren't happy at all about it.

For PsiU, a sober monitor was drunk and punched an SRC member. then when they further investigated it, they found out that they were putting xanax in their drinks. they probably won't lose their house, but are pretty much screwed for the rest of this year, and all of next year
