winter rush

I messed up fall rush and only visited 3 houses. I got a bid to one but I do not think I will get along well with my pledge class. I am almost set to go for winter rush. How is winter rush. Is it more competitive? Do all (or at least most) fraternities partake in the winter? I came in the first few days of rush not really sure if I wanted to join greek life but now after rush I really like the idea of it.

Winter rush here at umich is more like "invite only" rush. The frats last year that I knew accepted like 7-9 guys max for the winter term. It could be different at other houses. I'm in a sorority and we rarely rush girls in the winter.

I am looking to rush middle tiers like DU and phi delt in the winter, how are thier winter rushes?

Last year DU had something like 15 winter pledges, one of the bigger winter pledge classes on campus. Not sure how Phi Delt does it though

Phi Delt is not mid. Lower tier. You’ll have an easy bid there

How about chi psi and sig ep? How many kids do they normally take in the winter?
What are good middle tier houses to look at for winter rush?

There is no sig ep but there’s sae. If you’re looking for mids try Dchi, Pikapp (Pi kappa phi), dsig, xi (theta xi), tdx, shady (alpha delta phi), dtd, phidelt, sig chi, du (delta upsilon)
