winter rush
by: rusheeI didn't get called back to my first choice and I think I am left with only two houses that will probably give me bids, but I am not sure if I like them. Should I try winter rush so that way I get to know more fraternities? Since winter rush is smaller, if there a good chance I might not get a bid by the end of it?

also, it is harder to get a bid in winter. and no offense, but if the house you wanted most didn't give you a bid now, it's likely they decided you weren't a fit for their house and won't change their mind in the winter.

^that's irrelevant. your opinion isn't his opinion of the house so let me keep it general: it depends if you feel comfortable at either of those houses. go to their call backs and see if you like them. it's a blessing in disguise that you may go to a different house. and, you can always pledge and drop if you find yourself not happy with that house
