"the pit"?

Dumb question. I had to leave town this weekend and missed pregames. What is this "pit" I keep hearing about and where is it? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!

SAE-Skrappa, Pike-Tridelt, Theta Chi- Kappa all pregame there. It's a dirt parking lot shared by three of those frats' senior houses. It's at hill/tappan intersection.
