by: RushFiji seems to have a great reputation on this site. How are their parties, and how hard is it to get a bid?

Keeping in mind that a lot of the rankings for any house on this site are self ranks, Fiji is a pretty good house. Considered one of the top 5 at Michigan, but many wouldn't put it in the top 3 (Phi Psi, SAE, Theta Chi). From what I've heard and their parties that I've been too they're usually pretty fun, not the craziest but still a good time. Some of the kids are awkward, while others are pretty cool. Being one of the top 5 at Michigan, pretty competitive for rush. Made it to the Mudbowl against SAE, but lost. Won Winterfest though.

It's really competitive to get a bid at FIJI as it's a top 5 house at Michigan. I think over a 100 guys will rush for like 10 or 15 spots

More like 200+ guys will rush for 20-30 spots making it one of the harder houses on campus to get a bid.

FIJI is a bit different than the other 4 in the top 5 as they have softer hearts and aren't big douchebags. They are nice guys and are really big on philanthropy and community service. That being said, they do throw fun parties and the guys are still hot so it is pretty hard to get a bid. They are looking for people who are athletic and are good with girls.

Don't get me wrong, they're all really nice, but they also have a reputation of being "friend zoned" by the girls they mix with

You need to be athletic and good looking. Try to attend as many rush events as possible to try and get to know the brothers. Be confident and stand up tall.
