rushing fraternity as a sophomore

Does rushing as a sophomore lower your chances of getting a bid at a fraternity? I'm looking at mid-tier and below

mid tier (i.e. DKE and below) you should be fine. may as well rush one top house, it's not unheard of for them to bid a sophomore depending on how chill you are
