splash bash
by: Welcome weekIncoming freshmen. I've been hearing a lot about aepi's splash bash party. Is it worth it to go? Apparently you have to pay for a shirt as your ticket.

I guess it's a right of passage for freshmen. It kinda sucks, but the plus side is you have a guaranteed in to a welcome week party. if you're a guy I would probably get a shirt because it is much harder for guys to get into stuff during welcome week (and in general for that matter). If you're a girl, I would see if your friends are going but ultimately there will be tons of places to go every night, so you shouldn't have to pay for a welcome week party.

It's at Necto this year which is tough on fakes and generally just a crappy place over all, so not worth it. You'd probably have to pre-game it too. This is Michigan, you shouldn't have to pay for parties or drinks. I know some people that went and said it was eh, and a lot of people end up selling their tickets off anyways.

I went to UM, graduated in 2012. I'm going to assume you're not interested in a sober/celibate welcome week experience. If that's true, there is no reason to miss out on splash bash. Hot girls getting sprayed with water all night/making out with everything in sight: was the perfect welcome week experience.
