why do sophomores rushing look bad

It’s not, to an extent. It’s pretty normal for most sororitys to take up to like 6ish sophomores, but once you start taking a bunch it can be a problem for membership - they’re counted in quota the same as a freshman who can contribute (in participation, dues, and membership) for another year more. All of this is why taking a ton of sophomores is sometimes seen as that a sorority might not be recruiting well, but no one really notices until a sorority takes like 15 lol.

Tbh it’s not so much that sororitys are looked at negatively for TAKING sophomores as much as PNMs are at a disadvantage while RUSHING AS sophomores.
