winter rush top tiers

Is winter rush for top tiers impossible if you aren't super well connected with the brothers? I would consider myself top tier material I just suicide rushed in the fall (obviously not gonna rush there again). I know kids in various fraternities that I like but they're pledges right now so I haven't been able to hit their events.

Any advice is helpful
